Children’s Services Department Inward Investment Priorities

Priority 1 - Increase the availability of parenting support/parent peer mentoring groups/schemes in relation to preventing demand for higher tier Inclusion, Special Educational Needs and Disability (ISEND) and social care services.

Priority 2 - Support schools to work with partners in the public, private and voluntary sector to set up school led activities to improve emotional wellbeing, increase attendance and reduce the likelihood of exclusion

Priority 3 - Involve young people in the development of a youth-led system-wide approach to tackling the challenges they face locally, encouraging partners to engage with children and young people at a local level to develop bids and deliver projects.
